Thanks for posting on my facebook page --  I need the traffic.

As we discussed on FB, the only shocker to me is the "...immediate threat..." question.  That's HUGE!

Obviously the vast majority don't think we have a representative government. Wink

there's an argument afoot that term limits have created a more polarized legislature on Ohio where idelaists come in that are unwilling to compromise.  What are your thoughts on this?

Nothing could be more idealistic than the respective postures of the 2 main parties.  Nothing could be more polarizing than the stances of the 2 main parties.  Anything will be an improvement.  The real object is to represent the wishes of the constituents ....not the party.

When was the last time we had compromise in the US government?  Look at the California government!

I have heard of no better method of preventing “entrenchment” of a politician.  Yes it does throw the good out with the mediocre/bad, but at least there is a possibility that new ideas will be presented every few years.  There is always a risk that the new politician will be idealist and not open for any compromise, but a risk worth taking.  The good politicians, after term limits in the House can run for the Senate and has options for other State level elected positions.  The Arizona Term limit model is working, in my opinion, but is under assault:

Maybe grid lock isn't so bad.  The less they do in general terms, the better I like it.   Grin
