According to "Undercurrent" this month, diving has dropped 36.7% over the last nine years.  It's been measured by the Sporting Goods Manufacturing Association of America, so presumably they are saying that the spend in the USA on dive-related gear has dropped by that amount.  Still quite a lot.  I wonder how much it had dropped (if at all) up to the start of the present slump.

How is it in San Pedro? Prices dropping? lots of competition?  I'm sure the airfare right now isn't helping matters.
